The long- awaited, much discussed, occasionally
trespassed
City Museum
roof helped visitors reach new heights
for the first time on June 6, 2009. The
now-open rooftop features Big Eli, a
restored, revived, and revolving four-story Ferris wheel, a wide-and steep rope ramp slide, a stepping stone-festooned Splash Pond, a massive rope swing, and up-close and personal views with the famed City Museum Schoolbus and Praying Mantis, among other things. Rogue roosters have been known to strut past surprised visitors.
