The
World Aquarium at City Museum is the next phase of evolution
of St. Louis Children's Aquarium. St. Louis Children's
Aquarium has been educating the public with its hands-on,
friendly exhibits and interactive programs for over ten
years. Petting a shark, touching a starfish, picking up
a turtle are considered staples for this aquarium experience.
During your visit you can pet stingrays, crawl through
aquatic displays, play in a giant-sized sand castle beach
all while learning more about the aquatic ecosystems of
the world. Huge shell columns and jumping jets of water
makes you feel like you're swimming or flying rather than
walking. Huge hallways create grand museum spaces coupled
with informal children's pathways that lend to the discovery
aspect and create an experience that all members of the
family will enjoy. Admission is $6 in addition to City
