The 411 on Bringing Your Crew, Posse, or Pack
Whether you’re planning a class field trip, a scouting event, or just bringing a group of friends and family to play, City Museum is an exciting location for your group’s next adventure. Here's the math: Your crew will receive discounted tickets for groups of 12 or more, age 3 and older. You will get one free complimentary ticket for every 8 tickets purchased.

$12.00 + tax per person

Tax exempt groups need to make a reservation and pay in full at least ten business days in advance. To make reservations please complete this form or call 314-231-2489 x 601.
Any other kinds of groups can purchase their tickets online!
City Museum is designed to be enjoyed by children of all ages. However, visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone 18 years of age or older. Chaperones must accompany children through City Museum (you may not ‘station’ your chaperones) and are responsible for their conduct and well being.
Proof of age required. After 5PM on Fridays and Saturdays, all visitors under the age of 18 must have an adult with a valid ID and a paid admission in attendance.
(Adult is considered any guest over the age of 18 and a valid ID should contain both photo and birth date.) For groups visiting at night, City Museum requires a 1 adult to every 8 children ratio.
City Museum does not permit peer chaperones.
FREE CHAPERONE REQUIREMENTS
- For every 8 tickets purchased you will receive one free chaperone/complimentary ticket.
- All groups must bring at least one adult for every 8 children.
- Free Chaperone admission does not apply to the rooftop.
If you have more than one adult for every 6 children, the remaining adults will be admitted at the group rate.
*Groups are defined as any collection of people, 12 or more aged 3 and up (No minimum number required for Scouts) Special needs groups should contact the Groups Coordinator for details about pricing and chaperone ratios.
